The Vista Executive Committee (EC) is pleased to announce that the Campbelltown Council has officially declared plans to install new playground equipment at the Reserve located on Atlantic Boulevard.
The Council has recently circulated letters to residents in the area, asking them to share their preferences on various playground equipment.
Shirish (current EC chairman) have been liaising with the Council in the past for the installation of the playground equipment. A proposal by a local resident to install the playground equipment at the cost of the Vista residents has long been vetoed by the EC members. This has resulted in a saving of over $45000 to the community. Certain residents of our community were convinced that the Council would never agree to the installation at their cost, and were insistent on spending community funds to do so.
We would like to thank all residents who individually followed up with council and special thanks to lady from panorama who started petition regarding play gym and held meeting with council representatives last year.
As always, we are committed to serving the community and acting in their best interest.
